The ProSieben MAXX offshoot has been on the air since September 2013 and can be received both on cable TV and via satellite. A portion of the program can also be streamed for free on the website, including great US series such as Falling Skies and Sons of Anarchy, as well as some of the best anime of all time from Japan. ProSieben Maxx is primarily aimed at a male target group and initially showed US series such as Homeland, House of Cards and Sons of Anarchy - a novelty on German television - in the original version with subtitles. However, due to low audience ratings, they switched back to synchronization.
